We had the unfortunate luck of staying in Big White the week of the Coronavirus shutdown. The Taylor family were outstanding in the way they supported us during our stay. The house is perfect and worked really well for two families to share. We loved the location on the mountain.
It was great to be able to ski in and have lunch and head out again for the afternoon. The views from the kitchen and living room were unreal. We had a lovely afternoon of sipping rose in the sun on the front deck! The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub is a great treat after a day of skiing.
We hope to return next year when there isn't a global pandemic. Big white is a truly magical place!
We are a family of five (2 adults, 3 children) who spent a month at Wolfâ??s Lodge. We had an absolutely amazing time staying in this well appointed, cozy cabin in Snowpines. The kitchen is well stocked with all dishes and appliances that are necessary. There is even a crockpot that came in very handy to have a delicious meal ready for après skiing.
The location of this cabin is fabulous, especially with young kids. You are able to walk out the back door and within a few steps are on the run that takes you down to Ridge Rocket, Snowghost and Plaza chair lifts. Getting back to the cabin is just as easy and you can make it practically right back to the door.
One of the best parts about Wolfâ??s Lodge is the boot room. With five of us getting ready at once, it was instrumental in getting us out the door. The boot room is spacious and well organized with hooks, shelves, a bench and boot warmers. It was easy to dry things out and keep our gear organized.
We loved staying at Wolfâ??s Lodge and would highly recommend it. It was perfect for our family of 5, but would also be suitable for 4 couples as there are 4 bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms. The hot tub was a luxury, as was the sauna.
The owners are lovely people and great to work with. They made it easy for us to have a wonderful stay.
The place felt very welcoming and comfortable for our family.
