Whistler Village Location

Whistler Village is the heart of the resort in terms of feeling and location. You likely won't need to venture outside of the Village area on your vacation, but if you do, any other area in Whistler is no more than a 10 minute drive or bus ride away.

Ride the free Village Shuttle around Whistler Village, Village North and the Upper Village area. The shuttle runs very frequently (at least every 10 - 15 minutes) and for most of the day and night during peak ski season. In slower seasons service is usually every 30 minutes.

Whistler Village consists of the pedestrianized area from the base of Whistler Mountain to Village Gate Boulevard and the bus/taxi loop.

Whistler Village North is an extension of the main village area and consists of the remainder of the pedestrianized area with shops and restaurants. It extends beyond Northlands Boulevard and Lorimer Road to include some hotels and condo/townhome developments just outside the pedestrian area.

There is a large selection of Whistler Village accommodation and Whistler Village North accommodation available to tourists. The majority of accommodation in the main Village consists of hotels with a few vacation rental options in the mix. Village North accommodation is comprised mostly of vacation rental condos and townhomes.
